Hotfix Download Problems

SlackNet

Recommended Posts

Attached is a copy of the log file. When iOpus File Downloader tries to connect it is looking for "ieee" and says "Static". Not sure what the problem is, worked fine under XP install.

Allow me to be the one who calls myself a fool, I got it to work!

:whistle:

I am also getting this error and have just spent the last 40 minutes trying to figure it out. I don't have a firewall on the machine, my internet connection is working, and I manually downloaded all the updates into the correct folders. How did you fix this?

+ I am also willing to help troubleshoot the next version.

It is probably something silly that I am doing but I too am having problems with the download. I have attached my log. I did this with a clean download from 1:30 AM PST.

--  1:36:32 --> Found Source Version: 3KS
--  1:36:32 --> Found Minor Version: 2

@DigeratiPrime: If you have downloaded all the files, DLAUTO=NO in XPCREATE.INI should prevent XPCREATE from even trying to download anything. As for troubleshooting the next version: everyone will be doing that very soon ...

@MindMaster: Beats me: it looks like everything is setup fine ... It does seem the the downloading functionality just does not run right on some boxes. As I am migrating to a new release that dowwnloads differently, I won't be looking into it any further fir this release ... Sorry ...
