VPN connection at boot

Recommended Posts

I configured a VPN LT2P/IPsec with the WinXP assistant. I want to start it automaticaly at boot. They are no option for it in the assistant.

I put a shortcut on the startup dir in startup menu. But don't work.

Any solution for that ?

You can always add it in the registry where msconfig looks. Then you'd have the option to turn it off if you wanted too.

Should be under HKLM->software->microsoft->windowsNT->current version -> run. Make a new entry for it there pointint to the program's .exe file and then that should fire it up when you logon. If done correctly, you should see an entry for it (start->run-> "msconfig" -> startup tab).
