knight_dkn Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Has anyone heard any recent news about Service Pack 1 for Windows 2003? I'm about to do a few upgrades to my server and it would be good to have even a beta to try while I've got the server on down time.

Also, its better to not use a beta, coz its being modified a lot now to support 64-bit and the AMD64 NX-instructions, and the updates in XPSP2.The requirement of releasing XPSP2 seems to have delayed WS2k3 SP1. It might hold out till 2005 beginning! So don't worry about it until then - WS2k3 is pretty good/secure with its patches even right now.
