Tried my CD....ERRORS:

ok, i had tested my cd before, but this time i added ALL the apps (using WPI_2.6).

Mostly, things went well. But, as expected, there were some problems:

1) My regtweaks were applied, but some of the tweaks didn't work:

1a) classic start menu code incorrect? It worked after a reboot, but not originally....

2) How do I display file extensions automatically (everywhere)?

3) How do I remove documents from start menu?

4) I still cannot come up with the proper place for my Cleanup.cmd file. No matter where I put it, it runs too early. (RunOnceEx, Start Menu\Startup, winnt.sif)

I need the files to remain until WPI is totally done, and every method manages to delete the folders while they are being installed. Any solutions?

Or are there any Application-Selection tools (like WPI) that run EARLIER?

Are you adding the registry entries during the svcpack.inf/cmdlines.txt stage or later?

when i tested it, they were later - during runonceex. does that matter?

i just converted to the cmdlines.txt method (for my future CD's).

It matters very much. Report back when you've tested it.

Expand control tweak looks exactly like mine. so is ok.

You may need to use start /wait commands to stop setup while I assume, WPI is running. By the readme, it is supposed to run from guirunonce. So runonceex should be ok as well. I am unsure of the exact operation of WPI to fully give a true solution. If waits are within the software, then start /wait wpi.exe ? may do?
