thosan
Whan i was about to do a clean install on a machine, i deleted all partitions that was on it, and that probably where i went stupid since i had a dual boot on it with win 2000 and linux. After that i had deleted all partitions i made a new formatted with ntfs and installed win 2000 so far so good. The problem came when it had installed win 2000 and was going to boot it up, then it halted no matter what i did.My guess is that i screwd upp the mbr (master boot record) and the question is how to fix it?I have solved it paritially by using ghost files from another computer with the same dual boot, but I still can't do a clean install. Marsden
Boot from your install CD-ROM and select the Recovery Console. Run FIXMBR from the command prompt...
