CoOL... day!! to all hir speacially to the administrator...i have 24 pc and a PC server running windows 2003 server with role activ dirinstalled and accessing a internet gateway through an hardware router we where using D-LINK plug and play and a static IP from the ISP and also a static ip from the workstation using a class C ip and a gateway specified on the router 192.168.0.215 subnet 255.255.255.0 how do i setup windows 2003 should i use a static ip too..? tnx in advance.. god bless!!

Marsden Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 You don't need ICS with a hardware Router. Just configure each machine with a Gateway IP address which is the IP address of the Router. 192.168.0.215All machines will then point to the Router as the Gateway...
