Messenger 6.2 Default Settings

Hi,

A bit of help pls!

Can anyone tell me if the Message History is on or off by default. This saves a record of any instant messages sent and received.

As far as i can see it is off by default, but would like second opinion.

Is there a quick way to reset messenger to its default state as well.

I suppose the message history is off, by default.

I've not heard of a way to reset messenger settings to default state, but one way could be to delete the registry key (in HKCU) that stores MSN messenger settings - its registry stuff so be a little careful in what you delete.
