avast! BART CD 2 beta: DL while you still can!

Featured Replies

Those who have been making custom PE builds should know about ALWIL's BART CD.

Beta 2 is available for download with a full demo lic. (expires Oct 15).

Grab the BART CD builder to add these little beta gems while you still can!

(Follow the same general guidelines as ver. 1 to add to a WinPE build)

No need to register to download this beta! :thumbup

ALWIL Avast! Bart beta 2

A little history to avoid confusion...

1. Avast! Bart has been out longer than Bart's PE Builder. The BART name is coincidental.

2. Bart Lagerweij, ALWIL, and Winternals (ERD Commander) are not affiliated with each other. The only thing in common is they make a PE - type recovery build.

3. To add the avast! Bart CD app's to a pe build and avoid the lockout when the demo lic. expires... would be quite a thing to see!

But being able to update the Avast defs would be an issue right? The demo doesn't have the option to update.

It's not that much of an issue really. Just register and install (free) for a copy of avast! home ed. and replace the 400.vps file.

The bart cd builder will update until the 15th, so on the 14th (to be safe) have it d/l any updates and then build a new bart cd.
