cacil Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 Hi, is there any registry entry or something that will allow me to disable the option to eject a CD from My computer Icon? Thanks.
SiMoNsAyS Posted September 15, 2004 Posted September 15, 2004 i've seen this before2. Use some common sense. Don't post your question under multiple topics. forum ruleshave u try to deeply search your HKCR section in the registry?
prathapml Posted September 15, 2004 Posted September 15, 2004 While we're at it dudes, one more related thing:Sometimes, you see that your CD-drive is locked. Pressing the eject button is of no help, nor the "eject" option in explorer. Nor do the third-party CD-ROM tray controllers help.Example: When writing a CD in windows, or after having mounted a CD in linux.Well, how do they do this? Is it a registry flag somewhere? Or whatever... basically if you know how its done, do tell here. Thanx.
