Make sure your server and client had same protocols what is important is the TCP/IP protocols. IPX is for netware i guessed... Are you sured your network cable are correct.. aresgodofwar Posted October 6, 2004 Share Posted October 6, 2004 renzki you never confirmed that you disabled the xp firewal. you stated that in network connections, there is a lock symbol on the network connection. that means the firewall is enabled. if you right click on the connection, go to properties, then click on the avanced tab, uncheck the firewall. and if you are crimping your own cables, use this: http://www.aptcommunications.com/ncode.htmhope this helps!
