jdibella Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 I've had this printer for about 4 years and although it's old and not as fast as the newest ones it's been great.I have, however, had a problem with the printer spitting out one blank page when I turn it on almost 99% of the time. I've read that it could be caused by a faulty driver and therefore reinstalled the driver. Still have the problem. I checked cable connection and everything looked fine. I know that HP Printers are known for this problem however I haven't been able to find a fix. Anyone?
briankallen3 Posted September 11, 2004 Posted September 11, 2004 hey Bud,While, this is just a suggestion, but with the price of printers coming down so much these days, you might just be better to buy a new printer. Printers go bong after a few years on use anyways. I had an Epson photo-quality printer, used it for a year and a half, then let it sit for a year cause I went to college, when I made enough money to build my own computer, I got the printer and hooked it up, and it never printed correctly and I always had problems with the USB cable connection. So take $100, even less today, and you can find some pretty decent printers with good quality printing for under $100. I know that probably wasn't the answer you're looking for, cause oh wants to spend money with this sucky economy, computer parts are reaching really low prices recently. It's a good time to replace broken/outdated parts.Brian
