Long time lurker, first time poster.

I've successfully created my unattended installation CD of XP Pro w/ SP2, Nero, Office, and about ten other programs. Now, with the release of Windows Media Player 10, I would prefer to set up my unattended install so that WMP 9 is not installed at all, and WMP 10 is installed during the post-XP installation routine I've created. I've searched here, and all over the place, and here's my main question:

Is it possible to use some sort of switch in the [Components] section of winnt.sif to shut off the installation of WMP 9 in SP2? All the Microsoft documentation says is that you can use "WMPOCM=Off" to disable access to WMP 9. However, I suspect that there are some switches not publicized by MS (msmsgs=off comes to mind).

I have tried wmp=off, wmp9=off, and wmplayer=off, and WMP 9 still installs.

Space is not an issue, so I've never used nLite or any other programs to lighten the load.

If there is a switch to use to prevent the installation of WMP 9 in SP2, please let me know...Thanks in advance!
