grampasso Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 I've ACER TM650 with Mobility Radeon 7500 and Windows XP.I've format the system and install WinXP Professional with ServicePack2 SP2 all OK but the driver is the windows default.Well I've download the last driver the 8.03 I think BUT after reboot the system is KO!!incredible the keyboard and the touchpad don't work!!!!!I reboot in safe mode and all is OK.I uninstall the driver and the system is OK!!!The problem may be is the ATI's driver....Help me please..... N1K Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 It seems that this new ATI driver isn't compatible with SP2... you'll probably have to wait till the new drivers will be available...

The problem isn't with the ATI driver.The latest version for the actual driver is 6.xx or something, I don't recall from the IBM site.grampasso: Go complain to Acer's technical support about it or see if they have newer versions of the driver. Look, I even did the work that you could've done by going to Acer's site. [link].
