Open all folders as Thumbnails?

Some folders open as lists, some as tiles. some as icons, some as filmstrips and some as thumbnails.

How can I get it so they all open up the same preferably as thumbnails?

Set a folder to Thumbnail view. Go into Tools > Folder Options. Click the View tab and then click the Apply to All Folders. Close Windows Explorer and the next time you open it all folders will be in Thumbnail View.
