My SP2 Winnt.sif and some questions

Featured Replies

My main goal for creating this is to have a very regular setup that just doesn't ask for the CD KEY

I'm having some problems and questions that i hope you can hel me with

Here is my Winnt.sif:

[Data]

AutoPartition=0

MsDosInitiated="0"

UnattendedInstall="YES"

[unattended]

UnattendMode=ProvideDefault

UnattendSwitch =NO

OemPreinstall=YES

OemSkipEula=NO

FileSystem=*

[GuiUnattended]

EncryptedAdminPassword=NO

OEMSkipRegional=0

TimeZone=120

[userData]

ProductKey=MY CD KEY :)

FullName=""

OrgName=""

[TapiLocation]

CountryCode=20

Dialing=Tone

AreaCode=3

[RegionalSettings]

LanguageGroup=13,1

[identification]

JoinWorkgroup=WORKGROUP

[Networking]

InstallDefaultComponents=Yes

[shell]

CustomDefaultThemeFile = "%WinDir%\Resources\Themes\Royale.theme"

My Questions are:

1 - My older Win XP CD when used to boot the pc first showed three options:

1- Press r for system recovery

2- Some other thing for automated system recovery

3- the option to install windows

I dont have this in my SP2 Slipstreamed unattended CD setup and i'd like to have it, anyone knows how?

2- The [TapiLocation] settings arent working, also the Timezone, dont know why

3- Anyone knows how to set a default value for the default language for non-unicode programs? this is when you choose customize in the language settings

4- Previously when i installed windows it just installed with a real low color and low resolution, there was a pop up that warned abt this and asked if you want windows to correct this problem for you, choosing yes would set it to a good value? anyone knows why doesnt this appear to me anymore?

thanks in advance

am sorry 4 that but anyone who knows abt this can u please comment

thnx

use nlite and compare and fill all settings tabs I'm not home right now so can't show you my winnt.sif. But try nlite and you can have a normal installation. For the 1st question, if i remember correctly you can press R or something like that at the beginning of installation...
