Can I select what Disk Cleanup cleans up?

Hey,

I've been working on an old computer and whenever I try to do disk cleanup, it gets stuck on "compress old files." I know that normally it might take a while, but I don't think it should take the whole day. Task manager says that it is running normally. Is there any way to tell disk cleanup to "skip" compress old files so I can delete other stuff without having to do it manually? Thanks.
