partitioning into 2 partitions

hey guyz, i was wondering a coupla things

(im a n00b at this btw )

a) how would you make windows create 2 partitions (one to install windows on and the other you put ur data on)

B) how much space you would recommend for the windows partition.....

The size of the system (windows) partition depends on your needs. If you install s***loads of apps and games you'll need a bigger partition vice versa a clean os install with office, etc. There is no final answer to this.
