TheBee
Hi all,I created a very nice win xp home/pro unattended cd with all your helpand I always keep the drivers in the $OEM$ up to date.but now with the new nvidia drivers it's not installing automatically. In my winnt.sif is the DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore line but still notworking. I compared the files with earlier versions. I saw they now areall compressed (only 23Mb international, earlier versions 43Mb!)file extensions are like *.xx_ Can this be the problem? How to solve this prob?Thanx in advanceThe Bee
MaDxCrEaM
from what I understand windows will still choose it's WHQL certified drivers over non-whql drivers. I use the earlier whql certified drivers, and they install fine. Try the whql drivers, should have no problems having them installed.
Dreadnort
I'm afraid what I have to say isn't going to help much. I really sympathise with your situation, because I had the exact same problem with previous official WHQL's the 56.72's. I couldn't get them to install properly either in $OEM$ or in my RunOnce.I'm now using the new 61.77 just as you are, however they have installed perfectly. The only difference I can come up with, is that the problems I had were on a Windows XP CD with SP1. Since making a new CD with SP2, everything has gone OK.I can only suggest that if you're not already using it, make a disc with SP2. If you have, try one with SP1, just incase. Other than that, I can only say try other detonator versions. Guru3d Nvidia Drivers Page will give you the best choice.
