newdles Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 I remember about a year or two ago, you could go onto the MS website and download a power pack for Xp. In this powerpack, it had a Mp3 to Wma converter as a bonus. Does anyone remember what I'm referring to and where I can go to find it? I've searched MS site all over and I just can't find it.Thanks.
gabriel_buc Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 On this page you can find the powertoys available now from M$. I can't find the tools your talking about. But there are a lot of free tools that can conevert MP3 2 WMA.
newdles Posted September 2, 2004 Author Posted September 2, 2004 Thanks but I've been to that page a few times already. The tool came with Microsoft Plus I believe but MS offered it as an add-on for free and I just really like the tool itself. No worries if I can't find it really. It would just be nice if I could
prathapml Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 @newdlesI remember what you are talking about - and used it even yesterday....Well, I have the installer with me - I don't exactly know the size but it was like 20 MB, I suppose.I also remember the WMP7 bonus pack - some "Audio Convertor LE" or something was in it as well.....I use that one with Windows ME.Anyways, PM me with your MSN/yahoo instant messenger details - I might be able to do a direct file-transfer to you.
newdles Posted September 2, 2004 Author Posted September 2, 2004 Yah, it was a really tiny tool. It was even available via Windows Update as an extra. I shoulda saved it I'll have to pm ya though
newdles Posted September 2, 2004 Author Posted September 2, 2004 http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsme.../bonuspack.aspxFound the link finally from a friend. Good to know for future reference in case anyone ever needs this again (probably me )
LiquidSage Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 also, the bonus pack & more is in the d/l of WMP SDK.
