Nakkoush Posted August 29, 2004 Posted August 29, 2004 KB831240, direct X, .net frameworkAfter Slipstreaming sp1 with the xp professional I tried the iso with VMware to see what updates I need, one of the updates is KB831240,Can anybody tell me which type is it this one 1 or 2?On my virtual pc (Win XP SP1) there is no .net framework and windows update itself couldn’t detect it also direct X as I see the windows update page has been changed it seems that less update now we have to download! Am I right is there any thing wrong, what is the best way to know the file I have to update to my new unattended cd.Is the setup file dxsetup.exe of the direct X 9c the only file I’ll need, if I put it in XPCD/I386/Update what switches and name should I add in the svcpack.inf please more explanation!The same question for .net framework
