Christer Tamm Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 This must have been answered a million times:What's the reg tweak for disabling the file delete confirmation dialog box?Google gives no help, just tips for *manually* disabling it, which isn't an option for me; and I can't seem to find *anything* when using the forum search. I must be doing something wrong with it...While I'm at it, I'd like do disable all "newbie" dialogs in IE. Like "When you send information to the internet...", "Would you like to turn Autocomplete on", "Did you notice the", "Remember passwords" etc.
CoffeeFiend Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 I so happen to have the one for the recycle bin confirmation handy. (I'm sure I have the others as well but I'd have to dig deeper). Either there are utilities to help you find those settings (registry snapshot/compare apps such as RegSnap Pro 4).Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer]"ShellState"=hex:24,00,00,00,37,88,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,\ 01,00,00,00,0d,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,01,00,00,00I haven't tested personally (yet) it but it should work...
