Well, http://www.blogger.com, a subsidiary of google, is once again open for new sign-ups. So check out the blogging experience.

Also, during the course of putting up content anywhere, you normally use pictures and other files alongside text - for those times, you need a host on the internet to store/serve those files for you. Well, http://www.freewebtown.com is as good as it gets. A good, clean, and free site - fast UI and good data-speeds . Just upload files, and then link to it from elsewhere. (But please clarify this for me - when I saw details about it, it said it provided a 100 MB disk-space, now it only shows 1 MB - how is that?)
