USB DVD, driver not found

hello,

after installing SP2, windows xp doesnt recognize my USB DVD-R :(

in device manager its under "USB-Controller" -> Unknown Device :(

i had no problems with SP1

dont know where i can download an USB Driver for this?

all my other USB Devices does work ( IPOD, external USB HDD), mouse, keyb)

doesnt use the USB DVD-R the same driver like an external HDD ?


are you sure you have the dvd-r set to master?

try unhiding devices in the dev. manager and delete the shadow devices. try reinstalling the driver package for whatever you have (via 4in1, intel INF Update Utility)
