Getting FTP Server without IIS

Featured Replies

:D How do I get a FTP Server on my machine without having IIS installed? I have apache tomcat, but it doesnt come with ftp installed.

You can install IIS without the web component, and just FTP components, from Add/Remove...

To avoid IIS altogether, you'd probably have to go with a third party solution like Serv-U. There are several free FTP servers out there as well, just search google.

WARftp is the first free ftp server that comes to mind for me.....
