Can't end process

Hey I used to be able to end any process listed in the task manager. Now when I try to end a process with system as the username, it says "Access Is Denied".

Any help or a fix on this would be appreciated

Plz be respectful of the community sir. You were not neglected...people just may not no the answer to your question.

None the less, It sounds like you may have some Os corruptions possiably casued by some viruses.

Try to run a pdated scanner...Norton is reccomended.

IF that does not work pop in your Xp Cd and got run type in "sfc /scannow" AN that will make sure the critical files of WIndows are vaild, not missing or altered.

And in the future rather then flaming re-ask the qustion withing the post to rebump it to the top of the recent or active posts.

Thankx

hmm...seems you guys only answer questions that you know the answer to.  Well thanks for nothing  :realmad:

That's usually how it works. :P

Which processes are you trying to kill? If you can recall, what changes have been made to your system prior to this problem? Do you receive that error for all system processes or just some of them?

Some critical system processes cannot be terminated.
