Office 2003 Email & Settings backup

Featured Replies

Anyone here know what exact directory or directories Office 2003 uses to store emails and settings? I've already reformatted and reinstalled my system yet I've backed up all the files on c:\ drive as well as d:\ drive where the files could have possibly been stored.

Thanks.

C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Look for archive backup.pst

You caaan find the path by looking under File> Backup> Outlook Personal Folders Backup> Options>

Just browse to your path.

Hehe. I'm a putz. That was one directory I've manually deleted myself :)

Ahh well though. I've reformatted and reinstalled Windows several times in my life and have never once remembered to backup Outlook :P At least now I'll know what directory it is hehe

THanks.
