User input at driver install - Why?

Recommended Posts

For some reason I have to hit next just before the driver install... I can seem to find anything that is causing it. Ideas would be welcome - XPSP2

Please give some more information.

How do you mean you have to press 'next' everytime you install a driver?

Do you mean you have to click through the message that the drivers did not pass windows verification?

What programs did you use to make your unattended install?

Did you use nlite ?

If you answered yes to question 2 and 4, download a new nlite. known problem.

Thanks for the reply:

RealCato: - Sorry I forgot to preview the post or I would have given more info....

Its the "Welcome to Windows setup press next to continue" then when next is pressed it continues - unattended from there.

Ive used nLite when I was experimenting but used Winnt.sif Creator 2 instead to make the initial sif file.

idle.newbie: Thanks I think that could be the answer - Im trying it as I type

Thanks both for the response
