Coolsights2000 Posted August 15, 2004 Posted August 15, 2004 Hi! allI have been reading post here! And there is allot of great stuff to play with... But my problem is I made a file called Start.cmd for some reason and now I can't find where or what I read about it...If I read and remember correctly it was automaticlly looked for somewhere in the timeline ... But where is the questions...If not then I'm insane.. LOL... I must have dreamed it... The Start.cmd is in this folder \$OEM$\$1\Installand for right now I put a reference to it in the winnt.sif fileunder this heading[GuiRunOnce]%systemdrive%\install\start.cmdPlease set me straight Mac!P.S. So far the my Unattended install disk is going great....
jrzycrim Posted August 15, 2004 Posted August 15, 2004 Setup does not automatically look for a file called start.cmd. If you've set it up under GUIRunOnce, it will execute at first logon. Whatever commands you have placed in start.cmd will be executed at that time.
Coolsights2000 Posted August 15, 2004 Author Posted August 15, 2004 Ok thanks Then I was dreaming...I still don't know where I came up with that name.. LOL.. But I did put it to good use.. anyway... I made the file when I first read the tutorial... And you know how your mind goes on a tangent when you read stuff the first time... It is confused cause of to much information... Now when I look back it was not that much information... Now that I have played and reread and reread and reread I think I have a handle on the time line...Thanks Mac!
jrzycrim Posted August 15, 2004 Posted August 15, 2004 You're welcome,I've seen other people use a batch file called 'Start.cmd' so I'm sure you probably saw it in another thread.
