Pre-pin to new start menu?

Featured Replies

Again my search fu fails me. Where do I look to customize my newstyle start menu pin-to items unattendedly? Outside of a clean install and reg shot, I just can't find what I need. Should I just learn to stop worrying and love the Quicklaunch Bar? :)

After installing to a virtual machine, I pinned all the items I wanted to the start menu, logged off then back on, and then exported this key:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StartPage]

I'll give it a shot. But when dealing with a decrepit p2-400, there is no Virtual Machine. There's "Freah install and p*** off the wife again" lol

I hear you. Just tell her it's for the good of the computer. :) She'll believe that...
