I have Doom 3 and all the people who are in tha doom 3 forum with me have ATI's and NVidia and I cant download it because of my intel card. aresgodofwar Posted August 12, 2004 Share Posted August 12, 2004 hmmm....first of all you should know that integrated graphics cards are complete crap. i wouldn't even dream of trying to run doom 3 on an integrated card. secondly, i stick to the manufacturer driver so that i don't harm the card or my os. if you still want a different driver, then search google for custom intel graphics driver. IGNANT Posted August 12, 2004 Share Posted August 12, 2004 Sorry Bud but you may have to buy a seperate video card in order to play Doom 3 smoothly. Based on what you said, you have to use Intel video drivers and their onboard video cards are not really made for gaming. I have a bunch of those at work and even the Geforce 4 MX 400 series wont play DOOM 3 smoothly and I hav it on a P4 3.2 with 1GB ram. DOOM 3 requires a card with 128MB ram or higher.
