Graphics Question

I have an intel integrated video card and I was wondering...Is there any GOOD graphics driver I can download for free? I have Doom 3 and all the people who are in tha doom 3 forum with me have ATI's and NVidia and I cant download it because of my intel card. Is there anmything for free for me.

hmmm....first of all you should know that integrated graphics cards are complete crap. i wouldn't even dream of trying to run doom 3 on an integrated card. secondly, i stick to the manufacturer driver so that i don't harm the card or my os.

if you still want a different driver, then search google for custom intel graphics driver.

Sorry Bud but you may have to buy a seperate video card in order to play Doom 3 smoothly. Based on what you said, you have to use Intel video drivers and their onboard video cards are not really made for gaming. I have a bunch of those at work and even the Geforce 4 MX 400 series wont play DOOM 3 smoothly and I hav it on a P4 3.2 with 1GB ram. DOOM 3 requires a card with 128MB ram or higher.

Oh, I have gone through this with so many people but here goes: The game runs smoothly on all settings but I feel lie im not getting all of the graphic quality that I should. I didn't know you could run GeForce on this video card.
