HudsonManx
I rolled back to Windows 2000 on my computer at work because of stability issues. I created a shortcut to lock my workstation and then setup a keyboard shortcut. Here is what you need to do;Right click your desktop, go to NEW > SHORTCUTThen it will ask you to browse a location for the shortcut, just type in the following;%windir%\System32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStationGive your shortcut a name then click ok to finish. Double click the shortcut you just created and see if it locks your computer. If it works you can then assign keys to your shortcut by right clicking your newly created shortcut.Best of luck. Thanks,HudsonManx
Blackwar
that works flawlessly the only thing i couldn't figure out was the shortcut key, i right clicked, then went to properties, there was a box named " shortcut key" , said "None" in it but i wasn't allowed to modify it for some reason...Thanks bud Blackwar
HudsonManx
Normally you have to click in the shortcut key box, then press the key you want to assign. I assigned CTRL+ALT+L for mine. Thanks,HudsonManx
