Costom setup screen (for win2k)?

Featured Replies

In Win xp there is a file called winntbbu.dll which contains the bitmaps or whatever graphics, when the setup is done with txt mode setup and enters the gui mode setup.

this is my question:

this file is not found on a 2k cd, atleast I cant find it.

so WHERE are those graphics in the 2k\i386 dir, thich dll contains the graphics???

If someone has a link or an answer, I would be happy to know.

OKI. I figuered this one out.

The WIN2K has no winntbbu.dll, and I don't know if it gets the graphics from an other dll file.

however if you are using the winnt.sif or what ever your unattended file is called, you can ad this:

[OEM_Ads]

Background=bg.bmp

Logo=logo.bmp

I have this right after the [unattended] section

Now all you have to do is place the 2 files in the $oem$ folder and thats it.

Don't know if this works with WIN XP, but I will proberbly find out sooner or later....

bye bye for now
