2003 Server logon problems

Featured Replies

:) I cannot logon locally to our 2003 Server. The user name and password fields are grayed out. The field that allows for changing the domain is active, but that doesn't help me much.

A reboot will make it function once, but as soon as you log off, the problem is back. The server seems to be functional in all other respects. I can't keep restarting a production server, please help.

I have seen this problem mentioned on other forums, but not here. No one seems to have a solution.

2 stabs in the dark here,

When you do logon try adding a new admin account or add a nother user to the

printer operator group.

Obviously they can logon locally,

If that dont help you might want to reinstall client for microsoft networks but

if the server is in use this will be a right pain.

If i was in your shoes i would contact microsoft.
