Hi to all of you,

following Prob.:

I'm Developed a Unattended DVD with PE-Builder and self-written Applics to dynamically configure the client.

At first i copy all files that could be necessary to harddisk, to be able to remove the dvd after the copyjob has finished.

After the Basic-Setup and the reboot i install all needed applics while setup, to prevent users from canceling the setup job.

Everything works fine except for Office 2003 Pro.

I've tried all Possibilities,

running an msi on T-9,

setup with transforms on T-12 (cmdlines),

at T-13 (svcpack.inf),

none of these works. The package works fine after finished installation without any signs of a failure. I also tried without unattended settings but i stops with errorcode "1306".

After that i slipstreamed sp1 for O2K3 with the same results.

I'm a bit desperate, could anyone help me please ?:)

I've seen a very similar post around here saying theres no prob with Office 2003, but all suggestion in it didn't work.

Helppppppp !!!

P.s. excuse my bad english

Office 2003 is not able to install during setup for some. Try moving your O2k3 install from T-9/T-12/T-13 to GUIrunOnce - it works fine if you run the setup from there.

Yes, but i experienced strange behaviours of users, i know it runs from runonce, was my first configuration.

The user logged off while installing, cancel the xpinstall process an so on, should be a all in one installtion before first log on.

Sure theres no possibility ?

Would help me a lot.

Thanks

Search the forums. This app's uA install has been discussed many times over.

And, no, there's only one surefire way to install o2k3 without problems (if your office install source itself is fine, that is :)) - to install it at GUIrunonce.
