Jay_Stealth Posted August 7, 2004 Posted August 7, 2004 Hey guys,my pc has been running a little slower than normal lately, (although this pc being on an amd-800mHz CPU. its often filled with junk spyware and adware due to my firends dad being a complete noob) but i have noticed that the system idle process although using very little memory is using like 65 threads compared to the 2s and 3's most other stuff is using. Then i noticed that you cannot alter the priority of this process. Anyone know why its rinsing out my CPU?
captdilly Posted August 8, 2004 Posted August 8, 2004 Haha, the system idle process uses any CPU cycles that other programs don't . But it doesn't actually use them, it just looks like it does. Don't worry about it.
