Hello every body! I am currently experimenting with an alternative to using a batch file to launch the various installers. Anyone who has installed Internet Explorer will have seen, when first logging in after the reboot, a window in the top left hand corner of the screen. I read some thing about this. It use the rundll32.exe to launch the various installers. Anybody here has got any idea how this exactly works.

That would be the runonceex. There are hundreds of threads that talk about it. Check the unattended.msfn.org site for more info.

Excuse me, but the RunOnceEX method (also called INF/Windows-Update method) is exactly what you are looking for. Your attached (.doc above) contains info about some 2 things which don't work as yet - MSFN guides got those things working as well!
