FthrJACK Posted July 28, 2002 Posted July 28, 2002 Determined night watchers in North America can experience a close encounter of the visual kind in the coming weeks, as a spaceship brighter than any star makes its way across the sky.The craft will make repeated passes over the United States and Canada between late July and mid-August, at times surpassing in brightness all other nocturnal objects save the moon.During typical cameos in the sky, the multibillion-dollar ship appears as a dim point near the horizon, then quickly brightens as it glides across the heavens for anywhere from three to six minutesUsing a small telescope viewers should be able to see the solar panels on the side of the station its so close and clear!
FthrJACK Posted July 31, 2002 Author Posted July 31, 2002 what u mean crok o' s*** u tard!its true, u can normally see the station in most northern areas, but it looks like a very bright star, bbut u cant really make out much more than that, even with a telescope it looks like a fuzzy blob, although with a scope its a bit easier to tell what it is.its only in the sky for a few minutes.chris, any more dumb posts like that ill kick your a**!
