I want use command bootcfg to modify boot.ini but I can't remove switch "/fastdetect". (I don't want open file boot.ini and delete that switch) , Do anyone know how to remove it ?. Tks in adv.

have u tried going to start > run

type: cmd

then type bootcfg /? that'll give u a list of switches bootcfg supports

I did, but some commands of bootcfg (like addsw, rmsw) only add or remove the predefinded switches ( like /ng, /so, /mm, /bv), the command "raw" only add switches. No command to remove switches "/fastdetect". Does anybody know it ???
