wthigon Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 Are there any guides to accomplish this? I would prefer on one 700MB cd, but if not then i still want to know.
wthigon Posted July 30, 2004 Author Posted July 30, 2004 flyakite.msfnhosting.comdo read.ok I tried that and it comes out to over a gig (thats just for 98se ME and 2000) I want them to fit on a 700MB disk if possible. Any tutorials showing this
Alanoll Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 Not possible. There are no similar files for the installs, so there is no linking.
ToBe Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 I've made a 700MB cd with Windows 95, 98, ME and 2000, so it can be done.... Just delete all the unnecessary folders. Win95, Win98 and WinME install folders and the i386 folder from win2k is all that is needed, then make the iso with cdimage.exe. It was a while ago, so I don't remember exactly how I did it, I just know it's possible... Follow the guide to make a multiboot-dvd, and use the operating systems you want, and then make a cd instead of a dvd.
wthigon Posted July 31, 2004 Author Posted July 31, 2004 My Windows 98SE has a drivers folder. Do I need that or can I delete it?It also has DRIVER1.cab all through DRIVER20.cab in the Win98 folder.
prathapml Posted July 31, 2004 Posted July 31, 2004 If the drivers folder is inside the "Win98" folder (which contains .CABs) - then you need to keep it, otherwise you can delete it.It also has DRIVER1.cab all through DRIVER20.cab in the Win98 folder. Now, these are crucial files. Don't even dream of deleting these!
