making sense of Dr Watson

Hi,

I am running win2kpro(sp2) have been doing so...error free for around 6 months. I have many, many programs installed and do not want to undertake a rebuild or sp3~4 upgrade.

I recently installed an upgrade to one of my sw programs (Ulead PIXL).

Since doing so I have issues.

If I run Dr Watson I can view the error log but cannot determine what I can do to resolve the problem.

Can someone please point me to some sort of reference or better yet walk me through trying to fix my errors?

Why not install SP4?

I run SP4 and ULead works fine... If u have a more recent version of ULead it may require certain things from SP4....

I would recomend this first.... you can always remove it if it causes problems... but like i say.. i have no issues !

I installed sp4 and updates and it screwed with some of my other programs. That upgrade forced me to reinstall all old programs on sp2.

So...I did it once (sp4) and it wasn't happy with all my older programs. I am not prepared to go that route again.

Ulead tech is useless but they did assure me (several times) that it should work without any problems under sp2.

Do you know where I can find info on sorting out how to remidy the fault that comes up?

It is always the same and I believe it has to do with my dual monitor setup...but I dunno for sure.

The fault is always the same and it shuts down my proggie.
