Ok, I'm getting a little more fluent with making batch files and editing the answer file ect...however, I'm getting this error with my new unattended install in virtual pc...this particular image was made using a windows xp cd with sp1 already included:

"File txtsetup.oem caused an unexpected error (18) at line 1742 in d:\xpsp1\base\boot\setup\oemdisk.c.

Press any key to continue."

...after continuing it loads the necessary files then it says "starting windows" in the lower lefthand corner, which is normal...then it stops and says:

Windows XP Professional Setup

The manufacturer provided file that Setup is trying to use is corrupted or invalid:

Line 1 contains a syntax error

Setup cannot continue. To quit Setup, press F3

...any ideas on where I should look?...I'm sure it is related to something I did wrong during the long process of making an unattended install the way that you want it...thanks in advance!
