  1. I think I found the problem for anyone who may have experienced the same thing...I computer I am testing the setup on does not have a raid controller like the machine I am making it for does...I took the info out of the .sif file and it's not working fine
  2. Ok, I'm getting a little more fluent with making batch files and editing the answer file ect...however, I'm getting this error with my new unattended install in virtual pc...this particular image was made using a windows xp cd with sp1 already included: "File txtsetup.oem caused an unexpected error (18) at line 1742 in d:\xpsp1\base\boot\setup\oemdisk.c. Press any key to continue." ...after continuing it loads the necessary files then it says "starting windows" in the lower lefthand corner, which is normal...then it stops and says: ...any ideas on where I should look?...I'm sure it is related to something I did wrong during the long process of making an unattended install the way that you want it...thanks in advance!
  3. I'm sure this has been posted already, but I didn't know what keywords to use to avoid nine or ten million results ... What I was wondering, was the exact format that tweaks should be laid out in so they work properly when loaded...I've learned a lot in the last couple days experimenting with the unattended install, any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks!
