judeott Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 I have Windows XP sp1 with all the latest critical files installed, when I boot I can go in the bios and type anything and it respond ok, even when booting with a bootable disk, the problem is when I boot with windows ( XP ) the keyboard does not want to recognise any keys?? I tried removing the keyboard, rebooted etc.. still no go. I am using a microsoft internet keyboard and also tried on another computer and its working well, the files are defenately corrupted, I would like to know how to repair such a problem..I am curious to see how to repair and learn How ToThank youJudeott@hotmail.com
gamehead200 Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 Is it a USB keyboard or a PS/2 keyboard? If its a USB keyboard, replace it with a PS/2 keyboard (or have both plugged in at the same time) and use the PS/2 keyboard to update/repair your corrupted files...
