I'm wondering if someone else can help me here...

When installing some programs (most notibly, WMP10 Tech Beta), I get an error saying:

The software you are installing has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP.

This software will not be installed. Contact your system administrator.

Is there a way around this? Is there a registry edit or something? This is an EXTREMELY frustrating error that I need fixed.

Anyone have any information?

Sorry pastl, but none of the methods mentioned on that website work. It's a real bugger to fix.

Nevermind... it was my error. I was extracting the files and running the setup programs. If I don't extract them, they work fine.
