VB.NET and graphical interpretation

Hey guys, I need some help on this issue...

I'm trying to work on this application that takes in

a series of data (huge amount), and to represent them

with some graphical interpretation.

for example, to get some coordinates (x,y,z)

and my application should be able to plot them,

just that the one I'm woring on require frequent update and

it'll be great to have it with 3D graphics.....

or to say something like a weather simulator..

this should make more sense.

can anyone give me some idea where should I start?

so far I've found that it's possible to integratethings

like flash with VB.NET but if not possible...I wouldn't

wanna do that.....is there other ways or library

that perhaps I can give it a shot?
