can't boot bart PE

Hi people, I have searched all the forums about this, and read/reread every doc about it i can find but still I can't get Bart PE to boot off the dvd. on it's own (bart pe iso) it boots just fine.

I followed the tutorial by flyakite at http://flyakite.msfnhosting.com/ but when I try to boot bart pe (with 'chain /BART.DAT'), I get the following:

Setup is inspecting.....blah

NTDETECT failed.

I am sure this is because a file is not being located properly, but I cannot work out which and all my files look fine.

This is driving my up the wall.

You need to confirm that the cd ident files are present in the root of your disk & that you have correctly hexed the relevant files. I'm sure if you perused this forum thoroughly you would have found plenty of posts & replies on this subject. I'm sure Alanoll knows only too well.
