fokker Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 Hey Guys,I found this lastnite and it's working great for me on WinXP.http://www.jsifaq.com/SUBM/tip6300/rh6362.htm
GreenMachine Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 Cool. Any idea if this would work in non-syspreped machines, e.g. instead of using WINNT.SIF for OEMPnPDriversPath?(Nice title!)
Alanoll Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 if you look at the thread "SOLVED: DRIVERS FROM CD" in the drivers forum, the guy there made a program that creates the paths and whatnot, and adds it to that key. So I guess it would be possible.
GreenMachine Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 Thanks, Alanoll. Another thing to look into further ... The "problem" I had with the SOLVED: ... method was that MS files were overwritten by non-MS files, and I am trying to keep "in bounds" with Microsoft. However, looking at these two threads makes me think I should be able to figure something out.
