edbro Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 How can I install an application that only has an .inf installer? I don't even care if it is done silently, I'd just like to install it automatically through my RunOnceEx file.
Alanoll Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 128 .\RunOnceEx.infChange .\RunONce.inf to the path to your INF, and change DefaultInstall with the name of the correct section in your INF. You'll have to look for it in your INF file. It's typically the one with all the AddReg, CopyFiles lines
