Problem to run W2k winnt32.exe under WinPE

Hi!

I have problem to run Windows 2000 pro sp3 winnt32.exe under WinPE and BartPE. I have a fat32 sys part on my disk (c:). I can run Windows XPs winnt32.exe with no problem.

I want to run an unattended Win2000 installation undet WinPE (it is or standard OS at or corp), I have manage to do a nice WinXP unattended and I liked it much, so I wantend to do a base line win2000 installation with a unatteneded script.

I have manage do a Unattended Win2000 installation under DOS with winnt.exe. I have also manualy tryed to run the Win2000 winnt32.exe noting happend, but if I run WinXP winnt32.exe the setup program run just fine...

I have seen that you have to chage premission if you use a NTFS partition with the command calc, so i used fat32 so winnt32 have full access to the file system...

So I wounder if any one know the trix to run win2000 winnt32.exe under WinPE, I would be very glad for some feedback.....

Try Winnt.exe. I don't think you can use winnt32.exe under that OS with win2k pro. Try the other and see if it works -- if it does, you've got your answer.
